We all know it's important to evaluate class participation in a World Language Class. It can be overwhelming and distracting to try to keep track of student participation while you are conducting a lesson.
I created a self-assessment tool that students fill out once a month in my class. Within this EDITABLE document are the instruction (including sample due dates) that I give my students at the beginning of the school year, along with the assessment chart that the students fill out (and I confirm) once a month.
This is a great time-saver, and even better, it encourages students to be thoughtful about their classroom participation.
