We love apple season and so do the students! These are some of their favorite activities to do either as a class, or independently.
-Materials needed to do apple tasting and then graphing of their favorite color apple
-Individual graphs to fill out as graphing occurs
-Apple with uppercase to uppercase letter matching and uppercase to lowercase matching for use in either a sensory bin or on a magnet board, pocket chart, etc.
-Numbered apples 1-10 with apples containing that many seeds to match either in a pocket chart or on a magnet board
-Apple basket counting activity where the students paint or color that many apples in the basket
-Beginning sound apple hunt where the correct beginning letter is colored or painted with bingo dabbers
-Apple measurement - count how many apples tall the kids are and circle that number
