I use this for a fun way for my High School general music class to review the Classical Era. I've also used this in other classes as an introduction activity (to the Classical Era). It has several rounds that involve team work/building elements and the rest have to do with key points of the Classical Music Era.
Great to use every year! Students get really into it!
Here are the directions, also included in the Powerpoint:
Students will get into three teams.
Each team will come up with a team name and write it on the board
There are coordinating answer sheets for all rounds. Only hand out the current round sheet, one for each team.
After each round, the judge (teacher) will score the teams gold, silver, and bronze. Gold gets 1 points, Silver 2 points, and bronze 3 points. Your team wants the LOWEST score. The scores are based on what team had the best answer.
Don’t forget to award prizes during Closing Ceremonies
Don't Forget to buy the Round Answer Sheets! They are a word document so that you could alter them easily :)
