This is a two page introductory
tool to classification. Students are asked to help a zoo organize a group of animals in order to help the zoo design a better layout.
Students are also asked to make subgroups to further divide/classify the groups, as well as a mnemonic of the taxonomy ladders, and to "Guess That Organism!".
This could easily be incorporated into your classroom as a warm up or as homework. Enjoy!
