Twelve pages of full-color printables with photographs and captions (in simplified Chinese) highlighting the characteristics of various living things.
These printable posters are helpful in facilitating a discussion about classification and can be used to compare and contrast different organisms. I created these for our fourth grade unit on taxonomy, but they could be used by any age for many different biology-related lessons. I recommend printing them on cardstock and laminating for durability.
The following basic classification groups are included: animals, plants, trees, shrubs, grasses, coniferous trees, deciduous trees, amphibians, reptiles, mammals, birds, and fish.
Aligns with Utah State Core Grade 4 Standard 5:
Students will understand the physical characteristics of Utah's wetlands, forests, and deserts and identify common organisms for each environment.
