Description

These teacher made questions are to be used with the Discovery Education United Streaming Video "Classification of Living Things". This very kid friendly video shows students how living things are classified using a castle tour of King Philip's castle. The video discusses the 5 Kingdoms of Life, scientific naming and taxonomy! My kids are in 6th grade and love it. King Philip gives a tour to two students of his castle and uses the different rooms etc to explain classification. Video length apprx. 26 min. Yes, the video may seem too elementary for middle schoolers but it really breaks down the information in a nice way for easy understanding. I would show this after we took the notes. Kids were excited to see some of the visuals from the PowerPoint used in the video!
