PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The first part of this product is a classification activity where students must cut out exponential expressions and classify(paste) them into 1 of 4 groups: Positive Integer, Negative Integer, Positive Fraction, and Negative Fraction. For example, (-5) to the 3rd power would be classified as a Negative Integer. Another example, 6 to the -4 power would be classified as a Positive Fraction.
The second part of this product is basically a 3-page worksheet that gives students a chance to practice evaluating with negative exponents and negative bases. Answer keys are included for both activities.
