PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Classopoly combines a class currency system with a Monopoly game type theme to incorporate a classroom positive behavior intervention and support system (PBIS). This system is designed to provide teachers with a system that they can choose to make as basic or elaborate as they want, utilizing a variety of ready resources that can also be customized. Both prizes, a class store, and/or a class auction may be used while students earn and collect cards from the Classopoly game board. A credit card system and editable coupons are also provided and explained to offer more reward options. While providing a diversity of positive behavior supports to keep students motivated Classopoly also teaches students how to balance a checking account (using a balance sheet and optional checks), encourages them to practice basic math skills, and the value of organization, record keeping, goal setting, and analyzing the opportunity cost of making economic decisions. This system and editable resources could easily be adapted to create a school wide PBIS system too and align perfectly with economy standards. All files are PDFs (cards have editable fields to change or add your own content).

Included:
- 2 size posters of the game board for class display (22 by 26.7 inches
or 25.5 by 30.9 inches) (printable as a PDF with assembly directions)
- Student copy of game board to keep track of spaces collected
- Student balance sheet (learn how to budget a checking account)
- Student checks
- Property cards with editable $ amounts
- Two sets of Editable Chance and Chest cards
- Editable coupons
- Credit cards (use with stamps or stickers on the back)
- Auction cards
- Signs and banners for classroom set up (for prizes and/or class
auction)

The game board is designed with a school theme, using different street suffixes for each property. Examples of properties include Music Class Alley, Baseball Boulevard, Details Junction, Math Circle, Experiment Point, Restroom Turnpike, Field Trip Park, and Spring Break Railroad.
