One of the first questions I get from my kiddos each morning as I bring them into the classroom is 'What are we doing today?'. These agenda strips on the front board help to cut down on that.
I have these strips cut out and laminated with magnets on the back. Each morning I switch them around to visually show the kiddos what we're doing for the day. It helps to cut down on the 'what's next?', and it keeps me on top of our day's happenings. When everyone is in the room and working on Bellwork, I'll call their attention and we'll run through our agenda for the day, going over fun projects, tests to prepare for and any special activities.
I'm offering the Powerpoint version so you can edit the design and text. Feel free to change out the font (my room is a patriotic/colonial theme, so I used Bookman Old Style), and to add strips that are custom to your needs.
Looking for more classroom signs and labels with a patriotic or red/white/blue theme? I'll be posting all my classroom creations here over the next few weeks. ;)
