This classroom behavior chart is designed to be assembled vertically in this order starting at the bottom: red – orange – yellow – green – blue – pink – purple. Print, cut and laminate.
Each day every student (represented by a clothespin with their name) start at green (Ready to Learn) and you (or the student) moves the clothespin according to their behavior. Easy!
I’ve made the red level ‘Let’s Talk’ instead of ‘Parent Contact’ as many other versions of this chart shows because I felt that the whole class didn’t need to know this fact nor does the student need to be publicly shamed. It also allows for some flexibility for the teacher in terms of how to deal with the unwanted behavior (parent contact, principal, loss of privilege…etc.).
Some extra pictures have been included to be placed between each level just so it’s not so easy for some of those rascally smart kids to slide their names up the chart. =P
