I designed a classroom behavior expectation poster set to use in my own classroom. We spent several hours as a staff debating school rules and came up with the 4 categories: Safe, Caring, Respectful, and Responsible. (Similar to PBIS ) We are also supposed to post them in our classrooms. So, I decided to make a cute set of posters for my classroom. Then I decided to make several more sets. I would mount these either on brown or white construction paper, laminate, and then connect them to the header with satin ribbon. I made 6 styles of headers. My husband thought it looked better with Lincoln on top and Lions on the bottom. I have to admit that does look cute.
The header is editable. I placed some text on top – you just click and change the words. Depending on the length of your word you may need to adjust the font size. I used the font Second Breakfast which is by Brittney Murphy Fonts. I highly suggest checking out her store. There is a nice large white space on each poster so that you can add your own descriptors for what each behavior looks like. Mine are there but you just click and type to change them.
When you print make sure to select legal size paper and scale to fit page or it will cut off some of the clip art.
