Class-Wide Superhero Behavior System
⦿This is a class-wide behavior management plan. Each day students earn happy/ sad faces for each class period/ subject/ center or at teacher’s discretion. At the end of the day, if the child has more happy faces than sad faces then they earn $1.00. On Friday students have a chance to “buy” a prize based on how much money they have earned. If the student wants a bigger prize then they can choose to put their money into their “savings account.”
⦿Forms/ Slips (class savings record, deposit slips, savings receipts)
⦿Cut/ Pastes to make student wallets (color & black/ white)
⦿Prize bin labels—2 different versions for $5, $10, $15, $20 (color & black/ white)
⦿Happy/ Sad face tokens (3 different sizes)
⦿Bonus Bucks Bulletin Board Display
⇰What You Need:
⦿Large construction paper
⦿Play money and Prizes
⦿Token Boards (instructions for how I made mine included)
★Description of System:
⦿Super Deposit Slips:
: Children learn the value of saving money, as well as bank skills, by using these slips to deposit money into their savings account. There are versions for boys and girls. Each sheet contains four slips.
⦿Super Saver Receipts:
Just like at the bank, the teacher gives the child a receipt after money is deposited.
⦿Class Savings Record:
This is a record for teachers to keep track of how much money their students have week to week. Each sheet can be used for 3 weeks. Print front to back if you have a large class. The form has enough slots for 34 students.
Use large construction paper. Fold in half and cut in shape of wallet. Print the following pages for students to use to decorate their wallets. For best use, laminate or cover in contact paper once finished. I used velcro to put on the front of each student’s desk.
⦿Prize Box Labels:
Decide how many prize bins you want to use. There are labels for $5.00, $10.00, $15.00, and $20.00 prizes and two different choices. For best use print labels on cardstock, laminate, and velcro to bins.
⦿Happy and Sad Face Tokens:
Included are different sized choices of happy and sad faces. For best use print on cardstock and laminate. **Only happy/ sad faces are included. To make my token boards, I used foam board to make my token boards. Then, I covered them in fadeless bulletin board paper and put sticky dot velcro on the boards and tokens.
⦿Bonus Bucks Display:
Included are posters and visuals to create a “Bonus Bucks” Display. Each week a student can be chosen for each category and earn an extra dollar.
