This is a fun and exciting way to get your students to follow the chassroom expectations! This is an individual classroom management plan. Here is how it works: Each student starts the day with their car in the lot. If they break a rule, that student first moves their car to the stop and think bubble. This is where they have a warning and a chance to think about making better choices. If their behavior continues, they move their car to the traffic cone where they lose 5 minutes of choice time. If they continue to not follow the rules, then their car is moved to the gas station where all of choice time will be taken away. If they have to move their car a fourth time, which is to the think sheet sign, then they take a time out in our classroom or a buddy classroom. The last place to move their car is to the stop sign and this is when the student will either get a referral, ISS, and/or phone call home after school to let the parent know of the behavior their child displayed. The students move their car themselves so that they can take ownership for their actions.
Each picture has a text box so you can add names or change any of the signs to say what you would like.
