I used these in my Kindergarten classroom and they worked magic!
I laminated the sheets and added Velcro in each rectangle. I also laminated student pictures and attached Velcro as well. Students chose which center they wanted to visit by putting their picture in one of the boxes. If all 4 boxes were full, then that meant the center was full. This helped control the amount of students who were in a center at any given time as well as developed balance, independence, and problem-solving skills.
If you do not have Velcro, you can still laminate the sheets or put them inside sheet protectors and students can sign in to a center by writing their name with a white board marker.
There is also a space for writing a specific content or skill goal. I tended to write in "I can..." statements. For example, "I can cooperate" in the puzzle center, or "I can add two numbers." in the math center.
Some of these center descriptions were put in a permanent place, like my library center. Some of the centers were mobile and only taken out and put onto a table or in a space when needed.
This package includes a wide range of subjects in early years, like play dough, math, writing, reading, letters, numbers, coloring, painting, imagination station, listening, etc. I have also included a blank one so you can write one in.
