Are you looking for a fun way to build classroom community? This game is a student favorite and requires almost no preparation.
This item is also part of a bundle addressing classroom community.
Print the 36 topic cards (in color or black and white), cut, and consider laminating.
Shuffle the cards. Ask for a volunteer to begin the game. The volunteer takes a question card from the top of the deck and responds to the question. The student must continue talking until a classmate makes a connection and shouts “Me too!” The student making the connection then takes the next card, off the top of the deck, and the game continues. IF more than one student shouts “Me too!” (at the same time) allow the student (or the teacher) to select the next player.
This game requires students to think on their feet, hone their public speaking skills, and most importantly get to know each other in fun way.
Blank cards are included allowing students to write their own “Me too!” questions.
This game can be played over and over again, throughout the year.
