PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Classroom Contacts:

Students take an active role in choosing classmates that they will be working with during small group or partner tasks. Teachers can also share in this duty so that students will have a teacher-decided partner or two that can be used for ability grouping, heterogeneous grouping, homogeneous grouping, and grouping based on strength, need, or skill.

The students will "add contacts" to their classroom contact cell phone template until all but two or three spaces are filled. The teacher is able to fill in these contacts based on rationale listed in above paragraph. Students can decorate the cell phone when finished if desired.

This project saves time when starting tasks that require group or partner work. It is as easy as stating that students till work with their "#3" contact.
