I created this pack to help teachers label and decorate the classroom with clean, streamlined labels and decorations. There are some pictures of sea creatures, but not on every label.
I tried to include several different sizes of editable labels, so the teacher can use them to personalize the classroom. Please note that in order to edit the labels with the matching font in this document, the teacher will need to download the font KG Next to Me Sketched by KG Fonts. This is available free, for personal use only, on Teachers Pay Teachers.
This zipped file includes editable files and files that are NOT editable files.
The files that are NOT editable include:
*Welcome Banner- Cut out the triangles and then glue onto a ribbon to create a welcome banner!
*Subject Cards- Cards labeled Reading, Math, Spelling, Grammar, Science, Social Studies, and Homework. Cute sea creature clip art is included on each card.
*Days of the Weeks- Cards Monday through Friday. Cute sea creature clip art is included on each card.
*Classroom Job Cards- Large circles labeled with Messenger, Line Leader, Librarian, Caboose, Bathroom Monitor (2), Door Holder, Pencil Sharpener, and Trash Collector.
*Birthday Graph- Use the small rectangular labels with each month to create a graph. Students can write his or her name on the coordinating small circle, labeled with the sea creature, to create a simple graph.
*Number Stick Labels- Small circles labeled with numbers to cut out and hot glue to craft sticks. Use these sticks to randomly call students in class or use as part of the job chart by putting the sticks in library pockets labeled with the jobs. A photograph example of how to use the sticks is included.
*Clock Labels-Medium-sized, circular labels to display around a clock face (:00- :60).
*Where are We? Sign Labels- Medium-sized, circular labels to create a door display. Simply add magnets to the back of the labels and students can mark where the class is located. A sample photograph of how to create this sign is included.
*Word Wall Cards- Large, circular cards labeled with the uppercase and lower case letter.
*Classroom Numbers- Large, circular cards labeled with the numbers 1-27. These can be used to label student’s belongings. These are perfect for desks or book boxes.
*Table Group Signs- Large, circular labeled “Group One, Group Two, Group Three, Group Four, Group Five, and Group Six.” The teacher can either print two copies and have the words on both sides of the circle, or can cut out the matching circle with the sea creature and glue to the back.
*Number Signs- Simple, large, rectangular number cards for 1-10. The cards include the number in standard form, word form, and the ten frame.
*Clip Chart- Large, rectangular signs are included for the clip chart. Two different versions are included: 1-6 and then a word version labeled, “parent contact, teacher’s choice, make better choices, ready to learn, way to go, excellent effort, and super student.”
