The classroom economy pack is a super easy way to keep track of students daily behavior while making them responsible for their choices and teaching them everyday life skills such as counting money, how the bank works, addition and subtraction facts, etc. The pack includes the following:
~Credit/Debit Card- This is the main component and every week or two weeks the students are responsible for adding up their credits (received from their class jobs and doing good deeds) and subtracting their debits (received from inappropriate behavior) so they can shop in the class store.
~Class Checks- I usually have the students add up their credits, then subtract the debits. Then they take their cards to the banker (usually the teacher) who writes them a check for what they are owed. Then they take the check to the banker who gives them their money to shop.
~Behavior sheets-good for Rti as well as to keep those kids on track that need a little extra help. I have included a daily or a weekly sheet to use.
