My classroom environment is so important to me. I like when my kiddos feel good about themselves...as well as continuing to work harder to be even better.
In my classroom, I have a "Secret Mystery Student". The students are unaware of who that mystery student is...but they know their teacher is keeping a close eye on them. (I have a magnifying glass on my dry-erase board with a rolled up sticky note underneath with a child's name on it.)
If at the end of the day the "Secret Mystery Student" has done a great job of working hard...following classroom rules...and being a good friend, that student is awarded the "Secret Mystery Student" of the day.
I print off the template on cardstock and cut them in half. This is sent home with the student with a nice note to the parents about how wonderful their child was that day.
The student then gets to decide whether they want a homework pass or move their desk anywhere in the classroom for ONE DAY...That's a HIT!!!
This kit includes a "Secret Mystery Student" template for each month!
My students love this...and I hope you do too!!!
