How to USE:
How to the 1-8.5x11 size poster? This poster visuals should be posted in different parts of the classroom where students can reference at different points of the day. The poster is intended as reminders throughout the classroom. It should be posted in places like the reading corner, calm down corner, computer corner, hallway. How to use the 7-8.5x11 poster? Print all five of 8.5x11 sized sheets that contain the expectations. There are two optional “title pages” that state “Class Rules.” These posters should be posted in a clearly visible, central location in the classroom. it can be referenced when teaching students about the classroom rules, reminding students of expected behavior.
How to use the mini poster? The mini-posters are used as a reference for students who need the added visual reminders for them personally. Some examples are to put the mini poster inside a students locker or cubby, on their binders, folders, as a bookmark, etc…
How to use the desk strip? The desk strips are intended to be taped securely on students’ desks as a visual reminder right in front of them. This can also be used on kidney tables for small group instruction.
How to use the bookmarks? The bookmarks are intended to be used as bookmarks. These are simply as added visuals for your students to remember what is expected of them—not that students need more reminding during reading time. Instead the concept is that the more students (and the teacher to enforce) see the expectations, and are exposed to the common visuals.
