This classroom guidance lesson encourages students to think about individual differences and experiences that shape the ways in which we feel. Students consider how they would feel in various situations and compare with classmates.
Includes lesson plan (objectives, outline, materials list, ASCA standards alignment, all necessary handouts, and objectives assessment checklist). Additional materials needed: one small suitcase/bag and 5-6 various items that will elicit emotions based on personal experiences.
I use this lesson with fourth graders, but it is appropriate for grades 4-6.
This lesson is included in my fourth grade classroom guidance lesson bundle
and ULTIMATE classroom guidance lesson bundle
