Use this classroom guidance lesson with a fun, interactive activity to show students that they are more connected to their classmates than they might already know! Students create a friendship web by identifying their own interests/characteristics and responding to one another. Students identify things they didn't already know about their classmates and ways in which they are similar to their classmates that they didn't already know about. Includes lesson plan, handouts, and objectives assessment checklist.
I use this with second grade, but it is appropriate for grades 2-5.
This lesson is also available in my Second Grade Classroom Guidance Lesson Bundle
and ULTIMATE Classroom Guidance Lesson Bundle
