Use this classroom guidance lesson to teach students about four qualities of a healthy friendship: mutual respect, trustworthiness, forgiveness, and support. Students create a "Passport to Friendship" by identifying their best friendship qualities, what they look for in a friend, and setting goals for being a great friend.
Includes lesson plan (objectives, outline, materials list, ASCA standards alignment), handout (color and black/white option), and objective assessment checklist.
I use this lesson with fourth graders, but it is appropriate for grades 3-5.
This lesson is included in my fourth grade classroom guidance lesson bundle
and ULTIMATE classroom guidance lesson bundle
