Classroom Holiday Elf!
The holidays are just around the corner and what better way to ring in the holidays than to bring a holiday elf into your classroom! Start of by brining your holiday elf into your classroom the first day back from Thanksgiving Break (or when you can first get to it). Present your elf in a place that is visible to your class. Read the attached note to your class. Then your class will be so excited to name their elf. An elf name game has been included to name your classroom holiday elf. Once you have come up with a name for your class room elf, you can present his name using the “Meet our Class Elf” Color Sheet attached. Each student needs a “My Elf Diary” to write about where they find the elf in their classroom each day. It also provides an area for the student to write where they find their elf, a picture of their elf that day, and a prediction of where they think their elf will be the next day. When your classroom elf finds a student doing something good, they will receive a note from their elf praising them for their good behavior. This classroom elf is all about finding the positive in what students are doing each day. Try really hard to make sure each student receives a note from their elf. Nothing is too small to recognize. The elf diary consist on 15 days. If more is needed, just print more of the blank pages. At the end of this fun journey, a reflection page is included.
