One of those chores teachers rarely hear about before they get their first classroom is the task of documenting the equipment (desks, filing cabinets, computer equipment, calculators, etc.) each year. This database is designed to help teachers easily keep track of the equipment moving into AND out of their classroom over many years.
This is a user friendly database that allows the teacher to track Tag Numbers, Serial Numbers, quantities of items, arrival date and discard date as well as discard location. Then, whenever needed, the teacher can click the “Preview Classroom Inventory” button and create a complete listing of all the equipment assigned to your classroom.
Once you have entered the necessary information required by your school administration, the data stays there year after year and the only changes needed are for discarded or newly arriving equipment. There’s no need to recreate the listings each year!!!
This database does require Microsoft Access 2010 to operate as intended but will probably work wither versions as early as 2007.
