This product is a set of job/helper chart labels for a preschool/kindergarten classroom helper display. You can also print the same labels smaller to use as "job badges" for the children to wear. NOTE: This is a PowerPoint file.
The graphics and design are intentionally simple so that students can easily identify the job.
This set of job cards was made with PowerPoint for two reasons. 1) You can edit the cards (change the font, font color, pictures, etc.) or create your own slides. 2) You can easily print large cards for your “Classroom Helpers” display as well as smaller cards to make helper “badges” for the children to wear.
When printing, make sure you have selected “Landscape Orientation.”
To print larger cards for your “Classroom Helpers” display: Go to File/Print. Click on Full Page Slides/Handouts. Choose either 2 or 4 slides per page.
To print smaller cards for helper badges: Go to File/Print. Click on Full Page Slides/Handouts. Choose 4 or 6 slides per page (depending on the size of badge holders you are using.) The slides will be small enough to fit into clear badge holders. I laminate the badges and use colorful duct tape along the top edge to seal the badge holder. I use metal badge clips with clear vinyl straps to attach the badge to the child’s collar. (You’ll have to cut a slit through the duct tape to insert the badge clips.)
If you do not want the outline around the slide, you can uncheck “Frame Slides” before printing. This will allow you to adjust the size of the “white area” if you choose to.
