Use these eight classroom jobs to allow your students to feel part of the classroom community. Consider using several students for the jobs such as Mail Carrier and Clean Up Crew. Rotating the jobs often will enable all students to get a chance.
Use the jobs for a Classroom Jobs bulletin board. Print jobs, glue unto construction paper, and attach to a board. Use cutouts (perhaps your classroom theme) for student names. Velcro works well to rotate the names with the jobs as often as you like!
The eight jobs include:
-Line Leader (head of the line when leaving the classroom)
-Door Holder (hold classroom/school building doors)
-Clean Up Crew (clean up classroom)
-Hands Helper (Hand sanitizer before lunch/snack)
-Electrician (turn on/off lights or help with plugs)
-Mail Carrier (run errands or take papers to the office)
-Librarian (organize classroom library or take books to school library)
-Weather Watcher (daily weather)
