This application allows students to have a voice in which job they are assigned. Before giving students the application, I go over each classroom job and what the responsibilities include. I then leave the jobs listed on the board and give students time to consider which jobs they would like to have and fill out the application. This process takes extra time at the beginning of the year, but students become very familiar with each classroom job throughout the first quarter. The next time I give students the job application, it is a much quicker process!
