This set of black and white rectangular classroom library labels includes four different categories -- AUTHOR, GENRE, SERIES, and TOPIC -- to accommodate a variety of possible library layouts. I have sorted my classroom library books into baskets, labeled with the corresponding author, genre, series, or topic. This gives my students lots of options when shopping for books to read.
Some of the more popular categories have multiple labels in this set. (Realistic fiction, historical fiction, mystery, fantasy, science fiction -- all of these categories need several baskets in my library, so I made a few labels for each!)
Labels are 3" by 4", and print 4 to a page.
These labels can be printed, laminated, cut out, and attached to individual baskets using hot glue, glue dots, ribbon, or binder rings. You can print them on white card stock, or use colored card stock to match your classroom decor.
Thank you for taking a look! Please let me know if you'd like me to customize a label for your library.
