Do your students need reminders of what reading level they are on and which books they should be choosing from the classroom library?
Each of my students has a classroom library card that they keep in their book box or book bag. On the classroom library card I write down which level books they should be choosing and how many of each book they should have in their book box. I also include different genres based on what we are studying and how many books I want them to have of that particular genre.
This helps keep them accountable during independent reading.
I fill out a new library card for them each time I test their reading level and we fill out the card together. Then, they go exchange their books in the classroom library.
This has been so helpful to my students and I wanted to share it with you.
This bundle has 6 different colors/ designs to choose from; blue, green, pink and yellow. It also includes a curves and dashes design. Each design has a "book box" option or "book bag" option depending on what you students use in the classroom.
