Welcome back to school! Teachers must be organized and on top of everything to keep a classroom running smoothly. As soon as I saw the check-in board on Pinterest, I knew I had to make one! My check-in board is hanging on my classroom door. I will know at a glance where students are if they need to leave the room. One advantage of hanging the check-in board on your door is you can take it with you if you have a fire drill or tornado drill.
This file includes everything you need to get started! You can download my pre-made heading titles or use the "Take a Snapshot" feature in Adobe. After "taking a snapshot", copy and paste the image into power point and enter a text box to customize your own headings.
Headings included in the file:
- I'm in the classroom
- Reading Group
Headings are available in polka dot and chevron patterns.
Also included are square labels numbered 1 through 30 for you to manage your students coming and going. If you teach younger students, consider adding each students' photo or name to a magnet.
I purchased a silver magnet/dry erase board at Target to use as the base of this board. To add ribbon dividers, simply use scrapbooking tape or blue sticky tack to adhere the ribbon to the board. Each students' number is laminated and glued to a magnet.
