E.M.T uses teamwork as a vehicle to teach the student to control their environment
before their environment controls them. It is a series of games (some daily and some weekly)
that are played simultaneously to serve as avenue of practice and assessment for the character
progression of each student.
Some of the best results include: a common language between student-student,
teacher-student, etc., self-awareness for each student, going through the process of frustration
and challenge in a safe environment, acceptance and awareness of weaknesses and strengths,
acceptance of team weaknesses and strengths, coping skills to use during recess to effectively
and appropriately handle conflicts.
