This is a comprehensive, editable classroom management plan appropriate for secondary students. It includes a complete plan to recognize positive behavior and address misbehavior with age-appropriate rewards and consequences. Several pages are editable to allow you the flexibility to tweak the plan to best fit your unique classroom context.
Editable pages are indicated on the table of contents. Editable text is gray in color. You can change the color and content of these portions to best suit your and your students' needs.
Please note that the coupons included in this product are the SAME as the coupons included in one of my other products, Class Reward Coupons for Secondary Students
. Likewise, the rules chart and rules posters included in this product are the SAME as those included in my Class Rules Posters
I have organized the product into five sections:
• Contact Logs
• Class Behavior Trackers
In the Rules section, I identify five core rules and provide a rationale for each. I also give brief suggestions about how to teach these rules to your students by seeking their input and active engagement. The content of this chart is editable. I have also included five sets of posters for the rules, each with a different background of a different color, for you to print, laminate, and hang on your walls.
In the Consequences section, I list a series of consequences for misbehavior and provide a rationale for each. I also include a brief suggestion for how to apply these consequences in the classroom. The content of this chart is editable. Following this overview, I provide five consequence posters, each with a different background, for you to print, laminate, and hang on your walls. Following the poster, I have provided two different written reflection sheets, each of which plays a role in the chain of consequences. These reflection sheets are intended to help students reflect upon their behavior and brainstorm ways to improve.
In the Rewards section, I list a series of age-appropriate rewards and provide a rational for each. I also give brief suggestions for how to use these rewards in the classroom. Following the rewards overview chart, I provide two pages that, when printed front-to-back, comprise a Scholar Card, which is part of the positive behavior reward system in this classroom management plan. Students earn daily entries on this card in order to purchase Class Coupons. Twenty pages of class coupons providing various age-appropriate rewards (e.g., snack pass, tech pass, seat swap) are also included.
In the Contact Logs section, I have included a log and planning sheet to keep track of student conferences. I have also included a separate log and planning sheet to keep track of parent contact.
In the Class Behavior Tracker section, I have provided editable charts to track daily, weekly, and long-term behavior trends for individual students. I have provided charts for six different periods.
I hope this product helps you develop a classroom management plan that works for you and your students. Please remember to leave a review to let other customers know what you think!
