This set includes many of my classroom management strategies that I start at the beginning of the year including:
Table Leader - 6 cards in 6 colors:
Table leaders are the leader of their table all week. I print these off and laminate them. I then write the table leaders name onto the card every Monday. This person is in charge of getting table supplies, handing out papers, and cleaning their table.
Star Friend - 6 colors to choose from:
Star friend is my catch-all job. This person does everything! They take the lunch count down, get me a pen, and go to the office if needed. The star friend gets the job for the whole week. On Monday I write the name down under the stars.
Line Leader - 6 colors to choose from:
The Line Leader leads our line. Some years I have two: a boy and a girl, other years just one. On Monday I write the name down under the arrows and they are my Line Leader for the week.
Kindness King and Queen:
This was a new thing I did at the end of the year last year. Everyday I picked one friend that I saw was being exceptionally kind to others. They got the special supplies for the day and the knowledge of knowing they were a good friend. It really helped bring some kindness out of a rough bunch.
Animal Tables - Large & Small cards -3 different themes (ocean, forest, and African animals):
I just love using animals instead of numbers. My students love it as well. I use the smaller animal tags on my white board where I keep track of table points. You could also put them on table caddies. I use the larger ones to put directly on tables.
Some years I use these on the ground for line up spots, other years I hang them up. I also use the first 3 as waiting spots for my water fountain.
Hand Washing Procedure:
I hang this up above all of my sinks for reference when washing hands.
