Struggling with explaining when and where students can use "outside" and "inside" voices? Use this classroom management tool to provide a visual aide for students. This product contains posters explaining voice levels 0 - 5 (0 being silence and 5 being a scream) and where those levels of voices are appropriate (or not appropriate) in a school setting. The posters are full color, however can be printed in black and white. I use the posters in my Kindergarten classroom to inform students which voice level they should be using for an upcoming activity. For example, before a table team activity, I may tell students that they are able to use a voice up to level two while I post the level two sign on the board. The correlation between the verbal reminder and visual representation really helps students understand my expectations for the activity. The posters are decorated with my classroom "Black Rainbow Chalkboard" theme. For more items in this theme, or for more classroom management ideas, please visit my TPT store! Enjoy!
