This product is my complete auction system that I use as my strategy for classroom management.
I implemented this system beginning with Grade 8’s and have now modified it so that I could use it with my current class, Grade 3’s.
The main objective is to teach students financial literacy and of course, manage your class. This is a fun and engaging system that most, if not all of your students will love. I also adapt the program for my students that have a more difficult time managing their own behaviour. I wanted to create a system that would also give special attention to the students in the class who always manage their behaviour and always make good choices. Too often those students do not get the attention they deserve because of the students in the class that require constant teacher intervention or educational assistant intervention.
I truly believe that students need to perform tasks that require them to go through a series of steps in order to complete a final goal, outside of just their school work. This system is a multi-step system that requires the student’s to follow a step-by-step process in order to participate in the months end auction and teaches them excellent organization skills at the same time.
It involves students completing jobs and activities that maintain the classroom cleanliness and routines that they need to follow any how. I would just like to make it more meaningful and fun for them.
First off, I’m not going to lie, this system does take a bit of time. However, every last minute is well used with many benefits.
Time spent engaging your students now will greatly benefit the class and save time in the future. In other words, this auction is time well spent.
When you look at the preview, some of the black banners look like they have a line in them but they do not print out that way
Also, in the PDF, it's kind of difficult to tell but the Offense Log and Bank Log have certain lines a light shade of grey to help the students fill out the bank log and to break up the lines a bit on the offense log
