This is a handy classroom management tool. Students cut out the hand and glue onto a popsicle stick. When the teacher needs attention, s/he holds up his hand and says, "Give Me Five." The children hold up these hands indicating that they have eye contact, etc. Eventually, the teacher can ask for "Five" anywhere- in the hallway, at an assembly, etc. and children will hold up their hand in response and be quiet and well behaved. Principals LOVE to see this!
