Task Cards!

Task Card Scavenger Hunt is an engaging activity that may be used with ANY set of task cards. Pull out, purchase, or make a set of task cards, and then get ready for a Scavenger Hunt.

You will create a student record sheet by writing the answers in random order on one of the templates. Students solve a task card, and then match the card number to the correct answer. Next, they hunt for their answer on the record sheet, and then write the task card number in the left corner of the box with the matching answer.

The great thing about using scavenger hunts is students get instant feedback when they solve problems incorrectly. They are unable to find the correct answer on the record sheet; therefore, they seek help from you or their peers.

Collect and quickly check the task card numbers for an informal assessment.
