I posted these on the board with a touch lamp by each. The light that was illuminated indicated the appropriate noise level. It worked wonderfully!
I have these laminated and on my white board. Next to them are the push lights. This seems to work as a great visual for students and reminding them of noise level!

Visual aids help my students be successful in the classroom. I created this set of cards to display on my board when my students are working to remind them the type of voices I should be hearing during an activity.
This set includes a color and a grey scale version of the same cards:
Voices are a Level 0 - No Talking
Voices are a Level 1 - Whispering Voices
Voices are a Level 2 - Conversation Voices
Voices are a Level 3 - Presentation Voices
*** and also color and greyscale version of:
Voices are a Level 0 - Silent
Voices are a Level 1 - Whisper
Voices are a Level 2 - Inside Voice
Voices are a Level 3 - Outside Voice
