This pack contains 48 classroom material cards and 6 blank material cards to add your own for a total of 9 material card pages! For creating your own, I recommend printing out the blanks, writing the name of the item/supply in the handwriting grid provided, and pasting a photo of the item itself in the blank space. After constructing, proceed with directions below.
I print these visual cards in color and laminate them for durability. I cut out each square and adhere magnetic tape on the back. I do this so I can hang them on a magnetic surface. Another option is to place Velcro on the backs to use on a Velcro schedule or activity board. I use these cards with individual students, small groups, and whole group activities.
These cards are helpful for students suffering with executive functioning difficulties, or those who need visual reminders. These are simple, yet effective visual cards to use in your lessons. Simply display these cards on your magnetic white board, a Velcro board, a small magnetic easel, or on the table 1:1 or in a small group. It eliminates the need for students to ask questions about what they need to bring to their lesson or activity!
I've used these material cards for 3 years in my special education classroom, and it has been a fabulous addition!
