The odd numbers are black and the even numbers are red. The multiples of five are on green apples instead of red, and the multiples of ten have worms coming out of them! These patterns make it easy for your students to count by ones, twos, fives or tens!
Includes numbers 1 through 200. *Updated to include 0, though I wasn't sure (not a math person!) which color to make it or whether it counts as a five or ten, so just made one of all of them!
Print, laminate and cut out. For the brightest colors, use photo paper. Regular paper works fine, however. Every day that your class is in session, add the next number to the wall, above chalkboard height. You will be creating a number line around the room, so make sure you start far enough on the left that you have room to make it to 180, or however many days of school you have!
Once you have ten or so apples on the wall, you can make the counting by 1s, 2s, 5s and 10s part of your daily routine.
