Classroom procedures are like sweet and sour candy. The sweet part is the delicious sight of having taught and rehearsed your procedures with your students and your classroom practically running itself. The sour part is the anxiety of trying to remember every procedure you need to teach during the first month of school, creating a list of what you need to teach, actually deciding how you want your routines and procedures to go, and introducing and practicing the procedures with your class.
