Looking for a simple, ready to hang poster to remind your students of the expected procedures? This one uses graphics of a hand to demonstrate the signal for asking questions & the signal to ask to leave the seat (without disrupting or speaking); a face graphic to remind students of the expected behaviors, and lastly, an empty square. You can put a piece of colored duct tape in the square to represent areas where students must get permission before entering. Place the same tape on the surface or area around which students have limited access to. For example, I have the tape on the perimeter of my teacher desk, to limit students from "helping themselves" to my supplies, papers and files on my desk without first asking my permission. Hope you like the poster (print it to your poster printer at school to make it full-sized); or print an 8 1/2 by 11 sheet and place at areas around the room for students to see up close.
