Do you remember evaluating college professors? Bring that accountability to your high school classroom
Constantly evaluating yourself is definitely a best practice in education. However, sometimes our interpretation of what is going well in our class varies quite a bit from our students. Every class I have ever taught has been given the opportunity to provide me anonymous feedback. Generally, it's been extremely useful.
Using the sheets I have created your students will be asked to reflect on your class, your teaching, and, most importantly, their own level of engagement with the material. I have also included a sheet for the beginning of the school year that helps you learn just a little about your students.
The sheets are designed to print two to a page in order to cut them in half and save paper!
