Creating a classroom routine and expectations for how students should behave is key to creating an on-task and engaged classroom. I created these posters via Google Slides to hang in my classroom for the first few weeks of school so students understand the expectations what to do and how to act when they first enter the classroom. Don't forget to go over these expectations and routines with students on the first day of class!
I printed these out, matted them on construction paper that matched with the color of my room, laminated them, and hung them next to my Bellwork/Agenda/Homework whiteboard (labels for these are in my TPT store). You can customize this resource to make it your own and tweak it for your own classroom.
*When printing these, make sure you select "Fit to Page" under "More Settings" once you select Print so that these print out at a reasonable size. You can also select "Custom Size" and adjust above or below 100% to make them smaller or bigger (120% will begin to run off the page; make sure to preview and test it first before printing them all out).
