This collection of 6 wall signs are the first posters I hang up each year in my classroom. Students learn from the very first day of class important survival language such as how to ask to go to the bathroom, go to the nurse, and sharpen their pencils.
Not only do the signs include language chunks needed to form important request, but they model proper question formation in English. With visuals on each sign, the students learn quickly to place their classroom requests IN ENGLISH :)
Verbs are color coded and include: may, go, use, get, feel, sharpen, and have.
Nouns include: bathroom, restroom, drink, water, nurse, pencil, tissue
Adverb included: well
