These "Classroom Tickets" are a great approach to classroom management that I've been using for years! When I catch my students doing great things (working hard, helping others, etc.) I reward them with these tickets. They simply store them in their personal, zipper bags that I have them keep right in their pencil boxes and they collect tickets all throughout the year. When they have enough tickets, they can cash them in for a variety of prizes that I have listed on my board. My students love this system and I've used it in multiple grade levels. To keep them motivated to collect tickets, I also change out the prizes throughout the year and also change the number of tickets needed as the prizes become greater.
Example(s): 20 Tickets= lunch with the teacher
40 Tickets= a free classroom book to keep
60 Tickets= a new water bottle
80 Tickets= VIP desk for the week
As far as managing and storing these tickets-- I simply print off a TON of copies of these tickets, laminate them, cut them out, and store in a brightly colored and labeled bin in my classroom. Because I laminate them, these tickets last me years! I love that they are reusable because as my student "cash" them in for prizes, I place them right back into my "Ticket Tub" to pass out to new students as the year(s) continues.
I hope you enjoy this product as much as I do!
