PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

After researching the work of artist Grace Nickel, students create their own clay wall sconces in her style. I purchased $5.00 light sockets on white cords (with the little wheel switch on the cord) at Hoe Depot for these sconces. Using clay slabs and press moulds from nature (flowers, shells, leaves, butterflies) the students created beautiful sconces that really work.

I know you can but press moulds but I made my own by collecting items. spraying them with Pam cooking spray and pressing them into wet plaster that I had poured into tinfoil muffin cups.
