In this activity, students use QR codes to gather information about Global Climate Change. This product is completely editable, so it can be changed to suit the flow of your classroom. In my classroom, I put a set of 2 QR codes at each table (piece of paper taped to a lab tray). One gives a link to a reading for that station and one give the answer to the previous station’s question. To start, students scan the second QR code (labeled reading) at their table. They read the information with their partner and use the information to answer the question for that station of the worksheet. When time is up, the station trays will rotate around the room. They then scan the first QR code to read the correct response to the question you just answered. If they answered the question incorrectly, they will explain their misconception in the space provided. If they answered the question correctly, they will answer the extension question given when you scan the answer QR code.
This can also easily be done by posting the QR codes around the room. The misconception and extension portion of the activity can also be removed if needed.
At the end of the product, I have copy and pasted what each QR code says once it is scanned.
