Students will read about the responsibility of voting and things to consider when making a decision. They will analyze the candidates experience and qualifications and how they stand on the issues including; immigration, gun control, energy and the environment, healthcare, the war on terror, and the economy. There is also a side by side on the scandals or personal controversies the candidates face. On each issue students decide who they agree with the most and write briefly explaining why. In the end they consider it all and make an informed decision. I have attempted to make this bias free, however I do include information on bias, how to recognize it, and encourage students to always think for themselves.
